FolkLike was founded in 2023 by Ross Baird after he returned to UK after 15 years working in the MENA Region. Ross’s key strengths lie in brand strategy, graphic design and brand implementation. He combines his 25 years of industry experience with creative excellence and analytical questioning in order to identify innovative, engaging and effective solutions which link directly with your company’s goals.

Ross started his career in interactive learning in London, working with clients such as BBC, Channel 4 and PWC, creating cutting edge digital experiences when the industry was in its infancy. He went on to lead the digital creative team at one of the UK’s top ten agencies - Tullo Marshall Warren, directing communication teams for major clients which included British Airways, Ebay and Jumeriah Hotels & Resorts.

In 2010, Ross moved to the Sultanate of Oman where he founded one of the countries most respected design studios. Working for the Omani government , the studio developed brands and communication strategies in the key sectors of tourism, manufacturing and agriculture with the purpose of diversifying the economy away from the reliance of the oil & gas sector. In the private sector, the studio drove creative strategies for clients in property development, tourism, banking, education and construction. 

Now based in Suffolk, Ross is available to provide brand design and advisory services. He is well placed to support business owners helping them clarify and differentiate their offering in rapidly changing and competitive markets.
